and greet, and because of this it was a place where our community's direction and spirit were launched and developed Today, many people breeze into the store every day, and with today's busy lifestyles, their visits are often brief. But Douglas' remains a place where people in the community maintain their connections with each other, and old-fashioned service is the norm. Over its 125 years of history, the store has accumulated an extensive collection of artifacts. In fact, it could be said that N.F. Douglas' acted as archivist for the North Queens area for many years. In 2000, the company celebrated its 125th Anniversary and the decision was made to mark this milestone by sharing its history with the people and who live in and visit the North Queens area.
